Paul Coury
President of Coury Properties, Inc.
Paul Coury founded Coury Properties, Inc., a full-service commercial realty company, in 1985. Coury’s approach to business is a combination of vision, creativity, understanding of development trends, engineering insights and a “no fear” philosophy of calculated risks.
A native Tulsan and graduate of The University of Tulsa, Coury’s business background has enabled him to grow his operations to include management of more than twenty commercial properties, investor-ownership of fifteen sites, a construction consulting and development brokerage service, with aggregate sales in excess of $130 million.
Coury’s diverse career experiences prior to founding the company include roles in management training and assistant vice presidency of commercial real estate at the Bank of Oklahoma as well as vice presidency in commercial real estate for the Banks of Mid-America, home to a $100 million property loan portfolio.
Major Tulsa projects undertaken by Coury and his team in Tulsa have included the development of the Brooktowne residential and commercial community at 46th and Peoria, construction of the Cottages of Maple Ridge at 22nd and Boston, the rebirth of The Hotel Ambassador and plans now under development for The Tudors located adjacent to the River Trails and Boulder Park.
A philanthropist and community volunteer, his past and recent civic involvements include: The Mayor’s Blue Ribbon Task Force on Downtown Tulsa, the Eastern Oklahoma Catholic Foundation chairmanship, the Young Presidents Organization, Chairman, Newman Center at University of Tulsa, River Parks Authority Board, Tulsa Trails Expansion, Chairman, Tulsa Unlimited, Chairman.

Scott Morgan
Executive Vice-President
Scott Morgan joined Coury Properties in 1987 and is currently serving as executive vice president and head of the leasing division. Morgan has represented landlords and tenants of all sizes for the past 15 years and since 1987 has been involved in over 1,000,000 square feet of office lease transactions and represented over $50,000,000 in aggregate value.
Upon graduating from Oklahoma State University in 1980, Morgan gained experience as a development coordinator for Crews Development Company. He has played a major role in construction and marketing efforts for over 500 acres of residential and commercial property in Tulsa.
Morgan’s civic and industry involvement includes a role as president of the Tulsa chapter of the National Association of Office and Industrial Properties (NAIOP), board member of the Tulsa Real Estate Coalition (TREC) and member of the Tulsa Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) chapter.

Mike Murray
Senior Vice-President for Property Management
Mike Murray joined Coury Properties in 1994 as senior vice President for property management. His responsibilities include day-to-day operation of commercial office buildings and retail properties valued at more than $35 million.
Murray’s experience includes four year in the United States Navy-Naval Security Group. There he achieved the highest level of security clearance given to non-commissioned officers. In 1973 he worked with Carmac Real Estate where held the position of multifamily property manager. From there he became vice president of property management and leasing for The Rooney Company Realtors.
Murray is a 1973 graduate from The University of Tulsa with a bachelor of science degree in business administration and management. His community and professional affiliations include former board member of Hope Unitarian Church, Tulsa and Junior Achievement instructor at Union Schools for 10 years and member of Building Owners and Managers Association of Tulsa.

Helen Gruver
Executive Administrator/Office Manager
Helen Gruver joined Coury Properties, Inc. in June of 2005; she is Paul Coury’s Executive Assistant as well as the Office Manager. Her responsibilities include all Human Resource functions, office management, assisting the president and leasing managers in day-to-day operations of contract of sale for commercial real estate as well as residential sales.
Helen comes to Coury Properties with over 10 years of administrative experience as well as human resource experience. She graduated from Oklahoma Wesleyan University in 2004, with a dual major in Human Resource Management and Business Administration.
